Square: How To Hide Items on 3rd Party Menus

Your 3rd Party Menus pull directly from your POS Grid menu. If you want to hide specific items that are available in-store but not available on 3rd party, follow the steps below:

TO HIDE THE OFFER FROM 3^RD PARTY MENUS:

From Square Dashboard:

1. Go to ‘Item Library’
2. Search for and Select the menu item 
3. Scroll down to “Where it’s sold” and Toggle off Doordash & Ubereats as shown below
4. Click Save & Exit

** this logic applies to all menu items listed on your POS grid.

**** if you have not already added the menu item to your POS Grid, follow these instructions: 

ADD THE ITEM TO YOUR POS GRID:

1. Select ‘Items & Menus’
2. Select ‘Menus’
3. Click on ‘Main Menu’ text
4. Scroll down to “Limited Time Offers” category
5. Select “Add Items” (search for item you are adding, for example: “$6.99 – 6pc Boneless Wings + Side”)
6. Select “Done” to add to POS Grid

**NOTE: if you search for a menu item in your Item Library and it’s not there, that means it’s archived. See instructions here for how to unarchive here. **
